Paying for internet traffic is probably the fastest way to reach internet users. Paid traffic can be in a form of purchasing some advertising space where you can place your link and your ad, paying for distribution of your link by various means, paying some service that will help you in building more traffic like Autoresponder service or SEO service, hiring a freelance programmer or webdesigner, etc.

If your advertising budget is relatively high, you can succeed much faster than someone with a small advertising budget. Sometimes it is necessary to purchase some services, but if you are skilled and devoted you can succeed even by using only free services. However, if you are a beginner, you should start using free services and after some time use your money to increase success.

These days, nearly everyone is selling some form of advertising, traffic and services. So how do you choose the right one? Read on...

First of all you must consider the possibility to loose money. Many people fail when they start some online business because they are very eager to succeed and overlook some things. They spend most of their money on advertising and after zero, or very little success they quit.

You must spend your money cleverly. If you are a beginner and don't have a great advertising budget, my advice is to devote yourself to using free services and in the meantime learn as much as you can about paid services. After you start earning money from using free services you can use paid services.

If you are considering some paid services you must think about your Return Of Investment (ROI). Remember, if your advertising doesn't bring you results, all money you have invested in it will be lost!

Success of your advertising campaigns is mostly depending on the quality of your ads, on the services you choose to deliver your ads and on your own site. If any of these three success variables are not satisfactory, your campaign will fail.

1. Quality of your ads is very important as it represents the first impression of your product. If you are paying for impressions (number of times your ad is seen), your ad must be very eye-catching but at the same time not offending. It must make the potential user want to click on it and come to your site. On the other side, if you are paying for a number of certain visitors, your ad is not that important as is your website and the impression it makes.

2. Quality of advertising service is also very important. As there are many "services" that offer you traffic, you should always use your due dilligance about the quality of traffic when choosing some.

You should also choose services that are relatively cheap (or affordable to you) and with a possibility for a long term source of free traffic (like some SEO company). I have listed here some services you can check:

If you are an affiliate for some site, you can't much make any difference of that site looks, but you can use it to determine if you are going to join it, or not.


The best course of action is to never spend more money than you can afford to loose and to always test your ad performance first by using free services, or cheaper paid service before spending more money. Impatience in any online venture is a quick way to failure.
