Term "free traffic" is relating to a traffic that doesn't cost anything - naturally :). This is the best possible traffic you can get, especially if it is highly targeted.
I have dedicated this section to methods of generating free traffic. If you haven't already, you will most definately come accross various offers on the Internet about all kinds of e-books and manuals on how to get this type of traffic. These e-books and manuals tend to be quite costly and in most cases they are filled with useless information! You may find sometimes some piece of information that is worth all your trouble, but in most cases you won't. That is why I've created this section and I hope you will get some idea on how to get visitors for free. I have included here all methods that I know of and nearly all of them are 100% free. There are some online services associated with these methods you can use and they can make your efforts much easier, but they cost some money.

I put there also some services you can use to improve your success with free advertising. However if you are a new webmaster, or don't have enough money for advertising, I'd advise you to focus on these free methods and once you start seeing results to expand your focus on paid traffic.

Ok, let's get back to generating traffic! It's quite simple once you understand it. Free traffic to your site will come from a regular Search Engine listings, distributing your link for free all over Internet and from various services that offer you a way to "earn" free traffic.
1. Search Engines
Now, the most important and most valuable free traffic is from Search Engines. They will bring you HIGHLY targeted traffic. Imagine what could that mean to your business if you had a large number of highly targeted visitors that come to your site daily! The only problem with search engines is that your competition is HUGE, especially on the largest search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. And you will only receive traffic if your site is listed on a first few pages of search results. In order to improve your listings you must optimize your site. 2. Distributing your link for free
This is a great way to increase traffic to your site. By distributing your link, more people will have a chance to click on it thus increasing your traffic.
